Peace Place

http://www.peaceplaceinc.org/
Peace Place was created as a safe shelter to assist battered women and their children with rebuilding their lives, independently and free of abuse.  Their services are confidential and free.  Barrow, Banks and Jackson Counties are their primary service area. Parishioners of St. Mary & St. Martha donate goods and volunteer their services in support of the shelter and its Thrift Store.

Book of Common Prayer Online

http://justus.anglican.org/resources/bcp/bcp.htm

The Book of Common Prayer is presented in electronic form, formatted as the original. The text is in three word processing formats, RTF (Rich Text Format), which is recognizable by nearly all word processors, MSWord for Windows 97, and WordPerfect 6.0. The text is also available in Adobe Acrobat (PDF) files, which look more like the original, but are not generally editable.

Episcopal Lectionary Online
http://www.satucket.com/lectionary/
A collection of Lectionary resources for the Episcopal Church, updated every Sunday night. Includes full text of the Sunday Bible readings. Notes: St. Mary & St. Martha follows the EPISCOPAL Lectionary, not the Revised Common Lectionary. The Bible readings we use are from the NRSV (New Revised Standard Version) translation of the Bible,  except for the Episcopal Psalm, which is from the Book of Common Prayer.
